Avatar: DoD Announcement... Project put on hold...

Sorry to say but the project is now on hold... Through unexpected and unforeseen events, our animator had to quit about 2 months ago... We have tried to fill the void left behind since then, but free dedicated talented animators are hard to come by... We will continue to work on the show as we always have, but sad to say, fans should not expect to see any progress animation wise any time soon... I'm working on the funds necessary to pay for an animator if I have to, but in this economy even that may take time. The project is not over, but life is messy and things have fallen into the proverbial creek, and it will take time to open our chakras... This is as far as we got on the prologue for episode one, which was suppose to air this month... Our animator was close to begin fully animating over the still storyboard images, but things came up, and what can you do... Now we don't know when any animation will be ready, because we no longer have said animator... The scripts will continue to be written, art will continue to be drawn, and storyboards for episodes will continue to be planned out... However until we get someone to animate all that, nothing will be posted in video form... Again, not sure how long that will be, but I most likely will have to pay for the animation, which I will gladly do, but the economy has me lacking in that department at the moment, but I will keep this project going, and it will be fully animated... I don't want to discourage anyone from keeping up with this project, but you never know what will fall into your lap, I could have everything back on schedule tomorrow, so you never know... Feel free to ask any questions... Here's the monologue from the prologue... *NOTE* The music is an original score, but most likely not what was going to be used as the prologue theme, the narration by Kienya had a better take, but I couldn't find it in time so I used an old one, and of course the animation was suppose to have looked better... We see Water Tribe ships docked trading with fire nation merchants and Earth Kingdom children playing with other kids in Fire Nation villages. KIENYA. (contd) It has been fifty years since my grandfather, Avatar Aang, put an end to the one hundred-year war among the four nations. PAN: Aerial view of Wulong Forest during a sunny day (present day). FADE to aerial shot (flashback) of Aangs last battle with Ozai, with a red sky due to the comet and the landscape being destroyed by the powerful battle. We hear faded sounds from the battle. KIENYA. (CONTD) Merely a twelve year old boy, he stood up to the Phoenix King, and defeated him. PAN: Parchment-colored still image of Ozai and Azula running from the Prison Tower in the Fire Nation capital. KIENYA. (contd) However, Ozai and his deranged daughter Azula have long since escaped imprisonment, and have been wanted criminals for some time... PAN: Still image of Aang, Katara, Yasora, and Kienya five years ago - looking at toward the camera, smiling. Aang fades away and Everyones expression becomes more solemn when Kienya says my grandfather passed on. KIENYA. (contd) Although peace has been restored, five years have come and gone since my grandfather passed on from the people he saved. Blackness creeps in unevenly from the edges of the screen. Eventually, everything is hidden except for Kienya's face. KIENYA. (contd) Already, the world seems a little less bright...
